NWRA Aden branch opens executive unit in Abyan

The National Water Resources Authority (NWRA)-Aden branch is one of the biggest regional branches being supported by the gtz Integrated Water Resources Management (gtz-IWRM). This branch is responsible on water resources management of vast and divergent governorates that involve the governorates of Aden, Lahej and Abyan.
In purpose of securing the logistic base for the Abyan Water Basin Committee and gearing the gradual decentralization of water resources management in delta Abyan. The gtz-IWRM supported NWRA Aden to open an executive unit in Abyan which is located near the Governorate Office building. TOR of the unit have been developed, a unite office has been rented and supplied with furniture’s and equipments. Two employees have been assigned to start working there.
